As daredevil cop tried to bust the MM, a failed love affair of failed cricketer Vivank, who was once considered a shoo-in for the Indian cricket team but whose love of drugs destroyed his career. As he selected the coach of Dongri Dragons, he thinks of his last shot at redeeming himself and winning back the love of his life, Leepa.

My Views

The book MPL is a mix of two tales running simultaneously to each other to become one, to conclude of a bone-chilling gangster, an ambitious and swashbuckling super cop, and a heartbroken and forgotten cricketer are all looking for an elusive turning point that could change their lives forever- but nothing is quite what it seems.

But nothing is as good as it seems, just like the cover of the book MPL is so attractive and a complete story for oneself to imagine. As I started to read the book my expectation from the book fall drastically to let one disappoint completely. As for myself, part of a Cricket and Thrilling adventure, MPL has nothing much to amaze of. In the book everything moves so fast; there is nothing left for the characters. There are so many turning points in the fiction book but one doesn’t feel any connection with the characters because of a lack of emotions. Uncertainty and Ignorance could still be better than another Insult or Heartbreak.

Conclusion

The Book MPL has lacked the layers of both emotions and connection with the characters. The plot of the book is good but this thriller is so short that nothing much left to surprise for. As a fan of Once Upon an IAS Exam by the same author myself, this premier League let me down.
